The very definition of professionalism is the cornerstone of Monica Work’s life’s work.
Growing up the granddaughter of a citrus harvesting contractor with rock solid values, a great understanding of and compassion for people of all socioeconomic backgrounds. From her early experience as secretary for her grandmother’s Citrus Harvesting Business – being exposed to many diverse cultures as well as family dynamics. Ms. Works has continued to foster her compassion for helping to build/strengthen the family unit.
Being the product of an extended family, Monica is all too familiar with just how important strong family is to the building up of a community as well as the nurturing of well-grounded children.
Ms. Works enjoys a long list of educational and professional accolades. Graduating (Cum Laude) from the legendary Bethune-Cookman University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice, a M.S. Degree in Transformative Leadership and later enrolled in Webster University where she received a M.A. in Counseling (Mental Health). Founder of Carmon’s Restoration Center-A non-profit organization for young males, Board member for S.H.E. Success Inc. Owner and Administrator of Affinity Home Care, Founder and Owner Mindz Over Matterz LLC, a Life Coaching and Counseling Center serving individuals in multiple locations throughout the nation.
